Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
I have used this same recipe for years..everyone loves these. No one has no idea how easy these are to make. After you put them on the pan, dip a fork in flour and make the criss-cross design on them before baking. So easy to remember!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
This was a good receipe. Not sure it tasted too different than what I ususally make. I doubled the receipe and used a total of 7 bananas and it turned out fine. (That's how many I had on hand). I usually use 3 bananas per receipe. Didn't measure the cinnamon and vanilla that I added, but it turned out fine. I put 1/2 of it in a 9x13 pan and the rest in a loaf pan. I took the loaf pan to work. If I had nuts on hand I would of added those as well. Very easy to make.

Baking Powder Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
These were good biscuits. Instead of a cookie sheet I used an ice cream scoop and put them into a muffin tin..This was less messing and the buscuits came out all the same shape. I think I needed them to cook alittle longer...they were very flakey and fell apart when I cut them. I'll cook them alittle longer next time, but will definately make these again.

Mashed Potato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
This is a good base soup as others have said, but I had to add more than 1 1/2 cups mashed potatoes to make it the consistency that I wanted. Also I used a whole onion, celery seed instead of celery salt. I added salt and pepper to taste..didn't measure. If I had cheddar cheese I would of topped it off with that. Chopped bacon would of been good too, as would left over ham. Definately will make this again, but will add to it as needed for taste or whatever I have in the fridge that I think would go good into it.

Leftover Chicken a la King

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
I'm actually rating this before eating it, but it sure looks good. I doubled the receipe (since I had more than 1 cup of chicken left over) and only added about 2 teas. of extra cornstarch. I made sure it came to a boil as someone had mentioned and then let it thicken as it sat on low. Served it over the large buscuits. Had plenty for left overs the next day!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
This was absolutely delicious! I only omitted the butter and cooked the chicken in olive oil first. Then I cooked all the vegetables in olive oil and then mixed everthing together to finish it up! I also used skim milk which helped with the calories. I will definately make this many times again!

Fast and Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
These were excellent! The only thing I did different was use canola oil for the veg. oil since this is all I had on hand. Actually looking back at recipe now I forgot to add the vanilla, so I bet that would of made it even better.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
This frosting is awesome and so so easy to make. It really does taste like cheesecake. I used it on cupcakes, and it would taste wonderful on anything that you would normally put the store bought cream cheese frosting on, makes it even better.

Tortilla Rollups II

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
These were wonderful...I would double the receipe but not the tortillas and make sure you spread it thick on the tortillas and go all the way to the outside of the tortilla when you are spreading the mixture on otherwise when you cut them, the ends will have no filling in them and you end up throwing that part away on each one. Will definately make again....

Comforting Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
Well I tried this, and it had a good flavor, and my husband said it was good, but to me the meat was alittle too tuff. I had thought that it would come out more tender than it did.

Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
This recipe was excellent. I doubled the sauce as someone suggested. Instead of using 1 cup of water, when I doubled it I used 1 cup water and 1 cup milk. Also used 2 pkgs of the beef onion soup mix, fresh mushrooms, and chopped onion. I think if I was making a single batch I would use milk instead of water. We had enough that the 2 of us were able to eat it for 3 days, just changed out the side dishes with it. Biscuits are a must. This is a definate "do again".

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
This was very good. I didn't have enough cream so I used milk to make up the difference. I doubled the ingredients for the sauce as someone else suggested and it turned out great. Will definately make this again.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Very tasty and easy. I cut the chicken breasts in half, lenthwise to allow for a shorter cooking time and more chicken pieces. Used extra virgin olive oil...Will make it again.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
This was a very good and easy recipe. The only difference was that I used Pepper Jack cheese instead of the Mont. Jack cheese. Gave it a nice flavor. Not too spicy, but just enough. Will definately make this again.
