I started cooking when I was about 8 or 9. I learned to make cookies, macaroni & cheese, the family pancakes, ramen noodles and brownies. My family collects recipes so there was always something new I could try to make. I kept trying new things while I lived at home and turned into a decent cook. Now that I have to cook it's not nearly as fun, kind of like doing the dishes wasn't as fun when it became a chore rather than playing in the water. But I still like to try new things and I love it when people like what I cook. I started to get all of the recipes that my family likes in one place, but I wanting to try new recipes so I think it will take a while, but it should be satisfying if I ever finish it.
My favorite things to cook
I have a sweet tooth and love to bake most anything chocolate. Mmm, chocolate.
My cooking tragedies
Any time I try to make rice on the stovetop I either burn it or it's a sloppy mess. My rice cooker is so much better at rice than I am.
