Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
Absoulty delicious, especially the second day! I doubled this recipe, used all homemade turkey stock, leftover turkey, 1 can of no-fat evaporated canned milk, 1 cup of 2% milk and no flour/water roux (it didn't need the additional thickening). This was the best, I will continue to use this recipe. Thank you for sharing!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
This is a terrific recipe but I made a few changes. I browned my 3# pork loin, sauteed 3 onions sliced, added about a tablespoon of roasted garlic to the cranberry sauce, French dressing, salt and pepper. I cooked it 8 hours in the slow cooker on low (7 would have been right). Also followed the suggestion to add cornstarch to thicken the gravy. Delicious!

Grilled Marinated Swordfish

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
We really enjoyed this swordfish for dinner tonight! Used dry vermouth (no white wine in the house) and fish seasoning from Dean and Deluca. Marinated it about 8 hours. Served with Broccoli Noodle Salad with Asian Peanut Citrus Sauce (from this site), subbed peas for broccoli.

Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
Okay, I changed a few things. I used 1 stick of Crisco shortening, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar and 2 teaspoons vanilla. I used my #50 cookie scoop (made 44 cookies), flattened slightly and baked @350 for 10minutes......Wonderful!
