Campbell's Kitchen Chicken Mozzarella

Reviewed: May 28, 2013
I was afraid it would be a bit bland, so I added garlic salt to the chicken. I thought it was fine, but my husband truly enjoyed it.

Chicken Salad With Thai-Flavored Dressing

Reviewed: May 28, 2013
Just like Thai style, after it was doctored. These Larb salads are meant to be VERY spicy. I doubled the sauce ingredients and tripled the heat. My husband, who has lived in Thai landed for several years, gave it approval for authenticity and he's very picky.

Very Dairy Strawberry Shortcake Dip

Reviewed: May 28, 2013
I just made the dip, but tripled the recipe for a crowd. I served it with Nilla wafers and it was a hit. Some of the guests used it to top a flourless chocolate cake too.

I made 1/2 the salad (with the exception of a whole bell pepper) and dressing to the full amount chicken. It was a delicious meal!

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
Best chili recipe I've tried from All Recipes yet! I added a lot of spice to kick it up a notch. My husband who hates pumpkin was lured by the smell from the kitchen and then ended up eating 3 bowls!

Yia Yia's Avgolemono

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
I don't know if I did something wrong when adding the eggs, but it was blah! My husband refused to eat it.

Lentil Lemon Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
This recipe made so much soup! I would have given it 4 stars if I hadn't gotten tired of eating it and ended up throwing some out.

Roasted Broccoli

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
This is now a staple in our home. The recipe can be a bit salty and bitter. I recommend using low-sodium Montreal steak seasoning and making sure the garlic powder is evenly distributed.

These are more like lamb burgers! I made some yogurt dill sauce to go with. They were a big hit at our house.

Bean Soup With Kale

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
My husband and I loved this healthy recipe! I added red pepper flakes for some zing. For those who need some meat in their soup, I cooked up Italian chicken sausage and meatballs on the side and let people add them to their soup bowls if they wanted. Yum!

Linguine with Clam Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
This recipe rocked! I've made it 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I used 2 large cloves of garlic and added crushed red pepper to the garlic as it simmered. As recommended by some, I used 1/2 the butter and replaced it with equal volumes of pasta water. I finished the pasta off in the pan with the sauce and added parmesean cheese to thicken it. Soooooo good!

Mom's Favorite Baked Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
I give my version of this recipe 5 stars. I substituted 1 cup of the shredded cheddar for 1/2 cup of gruyere and a 1/2 cup of packaged, pre-shredded Italian cheese. I also added 2 cloves of crushed garlic. There seemed to be too much sauce for the noodles, so I used about 12 oz, but I would just adjust the amount of noodles ot your personal preference. This recipe is a keeper!

Broccoli Bean Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
I used the leftovers the next day to make a quick dinner. I heated up a skillet and added the cold casserole. To that I added 3 beaten eggs and made a sort of fritatta. My family agrees that the second dish was awesome and better than the first!

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
I think that there is way too much Italian seasoning and oregano...otherwise, the recipe is good. I'll make it again, but this time I'll leave out the oregano and 1/2 the Italian seasoning.

African Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
I picked out this dish to push the limits on what my husband would eat. His verdict: "This is the second best dinner you have ever made for me." I loved it too. Here's my twist on the recipe: 4 cloves of garlic (not 2), 2 chopped carrots, 1 1/2 stalks of celery (chopped), 1 can (28 oz) of diced tomatoes, 2 cups of chicken stock (instead of 1 cup of water), 1 tbsp of all the spices (instead of 1 tsp) and 1 cup peanut butter. Because there was more stuff, it took a bit longer to cook. I served it over jasmine rice. Loved it and will be serving it again soon!

Lemony Quinoa

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Loved it! I used vegetable stock instead of water and added the cumin and ground pepper to it before addind the quinoa. I also followed others' recommedations and boiled the water and spices before adding the quinoa. It did take a lot longer than the bag of quinoa said--closer to 20 mins in the pot.
