Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
It is good. I overcooked it a little bit. But, only because it just was not getting done!

Tex-Mex Beef and Cheese Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
It was good, but not what I expected. I think it was a nice change for us to eat something different. I added onion, and peppers, minced garlic to the meat.... I added the seasoning, but it was so bland I had to open up a pack of taco bell seasoning and add some to it... Maybe I didn't make it right... or it could be it was just different than what I am used to...

Tina's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This is very good. I have been to many of baby showers, wedding showers, and most of the fruit dip is marsmallow and cream cheese... This is so yummy and goes great with strawberries! It took about 3 min for me to whip this up for my daughters 1st birthday party! Totally last min. Everyone liked it!

I didn't think they were anything special... maybe I did something wrong. Tasted like every other chocolate cookie.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
I made this soup and it was fairly easy. One thing I had trouble with is the "roux." It started off smooth and then it got really clumpy and the butter seperated from it... I went ahead with adding it to the broth... It tasted good.. It is very creamy.. I think maybe I used to much butter... it had a funny after taste that sort of didn't sit with me well. I used an off brand type of butter, maybe thats what gave it the odd taste. Overall it was good.

Chocolate Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
I think this was so neat! I made it for myself, because I had one heck of a sweet tooth. I didn't use as much cream as it called for. The trick to this is eating it right off the stove.. I also used Graham Crackers to eat with it. I am sure any child would love this... However it is very sweet/rich I found myself eating about 2 or 3 bites.. and then a while later going back for more... Very unique recipe!

Oven Barbecued Beef Brisket I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
My husband has never cooked a brisket before. We had one in the freezer, and let it thaw out. He added all the dry ingredients and later cut it up and added bbq sauce..(sweet baby rays). Man, this was so good! It was tender and juicy, flavorful! Yummy! One thing that we will do different next time is add more seasoning.. maybe even garlic salt, liquid smoke... Don't get me wrong this was really good! We had to use tin foil.. If you do, make sure you use heavy foil and to maybe even double it around the brisket. This is the key to moist and juicy brisket!
