About this Cook
I love baking and cooking and LOVE trying new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook/bake anything that looks good to me. I particularly love baking and using my friends as guinea pigs :) They never seem to mind and always beg for more so I take it as a good sign!
My cooking triumphs
I've baked/cooked dozens of things. I think my favorite is my homemade lasagna and my brownies. I also make a mean cheesecake and shepards pie.
My cooking tragedies
I just tried to make homemade cinnamon buns which were a failure. I think I may have added too much yeast and may try it again but tweak the recipe.

Easy Four Cheese Lasagna
A very good basic recipe that can be altered easily. In mine, I used no bake noodles. Then, I subbed cottage cheese for ricotta and pepper jack cheese for parmesan. I mixed the ricotta with Ragu roasted onion spaghetti sauce (instead of plain tomato), then I mixed in some fresh garlic, Italian seasonings, black pepper and sea salt and some paprika into the sauce. Super tasty and cheesy!

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
Such an easy recipe! It's smooth, creamy and so delicious!! I did use whole milk and just a bit more peppermint then the recipe requested and it's great!!

Clone of a Cinnabon
These turned out way to yeasty. I don't know if it's because I didn't use a bread machine. Also, I didn't have bread flour so I used all-purpose which could another reason why. I probably won't make these again unless I get a bread machine.
