Avocado and Tuna Tapas

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
Awesome recipe! I make this all the time for lunch now! I usually add other crunchy veggies like celery or green peppers too :) Tastes good with Old Bay (a seafood seasoning) too

Flavorful Herb Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2012
This bread is great! I used the leftovers the next day for paninis--very good! I haven't had dried minced onion on hand, but I used onion soup mix (1 TBS?) the first time and 1/4 cup of fresh red onion for the second batch and both times turned out tasty. I like that it doesn't have a very strong flavor, but yet it isn't plain either. Perfect.

Sloppy Sams

Suprisingly similar taste to its brother Joe... I'm impressed! I used 2 tbsp of brown sugar instead of the molasses.

Broccoli Chicken Potato Parmesan

It's easy, it tastes good and it's healthy! I used extra virgin olive oil instead of the vegetable oil--it's healthier because it has the good fats.

Chocolate Chip Orange Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2013
This was so great! I loved all the flavors. I'm definitely making this again soon. I may try adding a little of the orange juice next time for a little more orange flavor :)

Sarah's Banana Bread Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2014
Yes. Too sweet. I used 3/4 cup but wished I used 1/2. I added coconut flakes (unsweetened) along with the walnuts and I really liked the flavor! I also added about a 1/4 cup of toasted oats for a tiny addition of a whole grain. The batter looked really dry when I went to put everything in the tin but it turned out great after just 20 min. Next time I'll try with a little less sugar and add cinnamon and vanilla.

Cajun Wild Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2013
This was pretty good! I didn't use the sausage but even still, I found it pretty salty. If I make this again I'll probably add more mushrooms, and if I use the sausage I would probably use low sodium cream of mushroom. This would be great bed to serve meat over!

Basil-Lime Sorbet

Reviewed: May 26, 2013
I found the flavors to be way too strong. I only used half of the simple syrup because others noted that it was too sweet--I think that would have been right had I added the whole thing. I ended up diluting it with at least another cup of water (more than the 1/2 cup I didn't add by not including the other half of the simple syrup. It made it a little better but still not enough to make it again. Something that may have affected it was that I juiced key limes and didn't use bottled juice. Maybe that would have diluted it?
