Another one of me ^_^
About this Cook
I'm a cook in training. I love doing it and I have much to learn. I mainly love making dishes for my friends. I know it'll never be a career for me or anything, but I do enjoy getting in the kitchen and trying something new or churning out an old favorite.
My favorite things to cook
I prefer to bake than to cook to be honest. I love making nearly anything though, breads and chocolate goodies especially. Mainly, what I love, is getting to share my work with others, I always seem to get good reviews. Not to mention there's always a little reward in it for me, praise and food wise ^_^. Mind you, I'm not bragging, I'm simply stating facts. They love to eat and they love my food. Who am I to deny them what they love? :D
My favorite family cooking traditions
I usually (read as always) do my baking in my pjs.
My cooking triumphs
My peanut butter cake and apple dumplings are super special hits. Near anything I make is devoured.
My cooking tragedies
One word: soufflé

Apple Brownies
Not bad, not wonderful but certainly not horrible. I think using three apples was a little much for my tastes, especially considering mine ranged on the small cider. They were also EXTREMELY moist, almost to the point of being soggy. I'd use a little less butter, and a little more flour next time.

Cantaloupe Bread with Praline Glaze
Not bad, but not fantastic either. Like others have mentioned it didn't really have any kind of cantaloupey taste, instead it tasted more like a spice bread. Albeit a good spice bread, but I was looking for a cantaloupe flavor.

Tea Time Tasties
Great, very simple but wonderful recipe. However, I agree with some of the other reviewers, this makes WAY too much filling or just not enough dough. I stuffed these cups full and still had plenty left over.
