Kelli's Fried Green Zucchini

My husband brought home a zucchini from a friend at work, and said he wished he knew how to make fried zucchini like his grandmother used to make. I decided to try this recipe...and WOW! It is so close to his grandmother's. I might have added a tad more garlic salt, but not much. Very yummy. We're going to keep this recipe!

Mushroom Blue Cheese Turkey Burgers

My husband I really liked these, and I'm giving it 5 stars because my 7 and 10 yr old ate them, too! We left the blue cheese off of the girls' burgers, but we added it to ours. Very tasty. I used portabello mushrooms, bc/ they were on sale. I minced them in the food processor, to make them small. I followed the recipe, except for the addition of onion, which I don't like. I added a tsp of onion powder, instead. I plan to make this one, again.

Best Brownies

I'm giving these 5 stars because not only were they very yummy, they were also very easy. I appreciate that I didn't have to pull out my mixer for these. I was able to prep these in less than 10 minutes.

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

I have made these a few times, now. I just made them for New Year's Eve, and everyone loved them. Someone said the sauce tastes similar to one for meatballs from our local Chinese restaurant. I have to agree. The only thing I might do a little different is add more liquid and breadcrumbs, less meat. We like our texture a little different. Overall very good.

Shrimp and Mushroom Linguini with Creamy Cheese Herb Sauce

We made this, but substituted chicken. I really liked the flavors and it was very simple to make. I thought that overall, it was just a little too rich for our tastes. Not too over the top, though. We added parm. cheese at the end. We will make this, again.

Fried Green Tomatoes

I really liked these, however, this was too much butter for our tastes. I cut the butter in about half and only used a little at a time, combined with olive oil. Overall very good. Will make this again.
