Have been cooking since the age of seven helping my mother and learning from her, she was a great cook and baker. famous for her sponge cakes. I had my first small business in Scotland, baking choc cakes only. I had 3 small children and was very busy, I love working with chocolate. . Love to create fancy cakes and perfecting cookies & muffins that are good for you..love to throw food parties for friends and family. theme parties with dress and food from other countries. Have been a cook and kitchen manager for over forty years...long ago it was not a female occupation and had to fight my way to the top. but I made it!! now I am retired from public cooking and just have a baking business doing my own thing. When i came to Canada from Scotland everyone was wanting some of my chocolate cake so i baked one. it fell flat like a plate as i never took into account the change in sea level i know different now, and my cakes are good again....
