All-Around Spice Rub

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
My husband had made a similar rub before that he loved but was never able to find the recipe for again - he said this had to have been it! He loves it and loves grilling with it...which makes me a happy woman!

Baked Spaghetti with Venison

Reviewed: May 2, 2010
Great tasting! I cooked the meet and sauces in a stew pot then served it over brown rice. It was a good twist on pasta or rice with meat and sauce. The spices complimented well.

Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
Incredible melding of flavors! Husband loved them! I did alter a tiny bit. I used boneless chicken breast and didn't add the blue cheese to the chicken bake. I added butter and blue cheese to the hoagie roll and broiled them for just a couple minutes (maybe 30 seconds too long haha). I added spinach leaves and some blue cheese dressing also. They was yummy!

Cherry Chocolate Nut Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
Top Notch! We loved these! I did a twist to them though - I made them in a 5x11 pan as bars for 20 minutes and then after they cooled I melted 4 squares of semisweet chocolate in the microwave and then covered the top with it. After the chocolate cooled, I cut them into bars.

Hearty Tortellini Soup

Fast & Easy! What a great weeknight soup for the family! I even used leftovers up! It was a few extras added to it, but not because the soup needed it. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Ground Beef for Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
Good basic recipe that is quick and easy to make on a week night, without sacracficing flavor. I did add salsa instead of just diced onion. The ketchup seemed to thicken up the seasoning on the beef and made the taste more satisfying! Thanks for the recipe, I will definitely put ketchup in with the seasoning now everytime I make tacos (which is a usual Monday night "mexican night" thing around our house). I almost forgot, we love to take a soft taco, sprinkle some shredded mexican cheeses on it then place crunchy corn tortilla and warm them until the cheese melts. A double decker shell. It seems to hold together better for that *CRUNCH*

Pesto Shrimp Pasta

Reviewed: May 1, 2010
I doubled it for a big crowd (omitted the asparagus and cooked brocolli on the side) and everyone loved it! There was some leftovers and they were just as tasty the second time around! A couple folks thought it was a little too much garlic, but there is no such thing in my tastebuds! Thanks for sharing this great recipe, we will definitely make again!

I thought it was delicious and refreshing. Teenager thought it needed a tablespoon of sugar. I wouldn't change a thing though!

Where's the Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
Really tasty! I added 1/4 cup of red, yellow, and orange sweet peppers (combined) as well as the juice of 1 lime with some lime zest. None left if that says how good it was and how much they liked it.

Flavorful Dried Fruit Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Great fruit bar alternative with no added sugar. I used fruit and nuts that I had on hand instead and it turned out great! I used dried cranberries, sliced roasted almonds and 1/4 cup of orange marmalade. I did sprinkle some powdered sugar on top to intice the teen to eat them. You could use splenda too. Really good though, thanks for sharing.

An amazing quiche! Great tasting! I used ground turkey rather than pork sausage and it was still tasty! I did add some usual seasoning like pepper, onion salt, and garlic salt.
