JELL-O Magic Mousse

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Unlimited Possibilities with this recipe! Top it as you wish (or should I say as your family wishes). I used different colored sprinkles and then I used almonds and cranberries on one. Going to try it again with a twist...I will let you know how it turns out.

INCREDIBLY TASTY! The seasoning and slow cooking of this pork made our Monday "Taco Night" go to a whole new level! I finally made something spicy enough!

WOW! Tasty! We loved them. We have had him battered before, but never with the bacon wrapped around them. Much nicer with the bacon! Thanks for sharing the recipe! I need a "Family LOVES" recipe folder now after this one!

Flavorful Dried Fruit Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Great fruit bar alternative with no added sugar. I used fruit and nuts that I had on hand instead and it turned out great! I used dried cranberries, sliced roasted almonds and 1/4 cup of orange marmalade. I did sprinkle some powdered sugar on top to intice the teen to eat them. You could use splenda too. Really good though, thanks for sharing.

Biscuits - BIG & Easy

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
This is my Mom's recipe and I have to say, she simplified it without making the taste suffer! My husband eats these plain like they are going out of style. They are fast and easy to make whenever you want bisuits. Glad my Mom shared it with me so that I could pass it on to you. Enjoy!

Venison Scaloppini

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
Everyone loved it! I used apple juice instead of the sherry/wine. It turned out so tasty! I served the meat over wheat spagetti and I made a side salad that had thin apple slices and shredded cheddar cheese in it with a vinagarette that included a hint of applejuice. I have to say the recipe really does take venison to a new level! Will try it again with the wine in it next time, just didn't have any on hand.

Crab Cakes II

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
Much better than I expected! Never had it without bread crumbs mixed in, so I was expected it to be too soggy and not hold together. It did though and tastes much better than any I had before! I did have to add a few things though...sorry. I chopped some celery, onion, and carrots up fine and added 1/4 cup total. I also added 1/4 teaspoon of horseradish. Incredibly tasty!

Brownie Biscotti

LOVE IT! My first time ever making biscotti and I am hooked! Considered as a "treat" for me when at a coffee shop, but now can be a treat that I share with others! Can't wait to carry some into work. Thanks for the recipe!

Budget Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
First time I heard of a recipe like this. I had to try it! I used a chocolate cake with the chocolate frosting, but I used peanut butter chips instead. They are great. I did find that as the balls cooled more, the easier they were to dip. The toothpick idea didn't work that great for me. Tastes GREAT! A fairly quick and easy one too! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
