Great Recipe! Kids loved! Will make again. I didn't have any cranberries, so I substituted with some raisen date nut instant oatmeal.

Strawberry Shortcake

Shortcake was delicious. I did substitute 1 cup of wheat flour in and used 10 oz of evaporated milk so it was not so dry. Great tasting and holds up well!

What a hearty meal! I was able to let it cook most of the day then just boil the noodles right before serving. A real fuss free dinner!

Fast & Easy! What a great weeknight soup for the family! I even used leftovers up! It was a few extras added to it, but not because the soup needed it. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Chocolate Chip Crispies

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
A little too dry and crumbly. Prefer them a little gooier. The taste though with the peanut butter and chocolate is over the top! Love them, just will use less crispies next time.

Ground Beef for Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
Good basic recipe that is quick and easy to make on a week night, without sacracficing flavor. I did add salsa instead of just diced onion. The ketchup seemed to thicken up the seasoning on the beef and made the taste more satisfying! Thanks for the recipe, I will definitely put ketchup in with the seasoning now everytime I make tacos (which is a usual Monday night "mexican night" thing around our house). I almost forgot, we love to take a soft taco, sprinkle some shredded mexican cheeses on it then place crunchy corn tortilla and warm them until the cheese melts. A double decker shell. It seems to hold together better for that *CRUNCH*

Pizza Dough II

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
So far, so PERFECT! I made it today to use Wednesday night, but since I will be working Wednesday and not have enought time to make the dough and cook of the pizzas, I made the dough today and am refrigerating it until Weds. I can't believe how well it rose and how light and airy it is! This is a 2 gallon container. I can't wait to taste it! I will update with the final product. UPDATE: What GREAT dough! I rolled mine out a bit thinner than some may like, but what I loved about this crust is that it didn't get "burned or crunchy" before it got cooked. It was soft and tasty and held up nicely when handling to eat even though I had stacked the toppings deep! This dough is a definite ABSOLUTE FAV in my box! I will be making again and again!

Sweet Potato Potato Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
Suprisingly good! I did add just a small amount of chopped yellow and orange bell peppers. I also added some parsley at the end. It was very delicious! I never mixed sweet and regular potatos before -but will definitely make again! I doubled it to serve 6 people and it was all gone! Served it with roasted turkey breast and green beans. Paired well! Can't wait to make it again!

New York Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
Hubby said, "Best Cheese Cake that he has ever ate!" He said it was lite and fluffy and not all sweet tasting. I decorated the top with a dark chocolate and had strawberry topping to put over it. Son ate it with with no topping and liked it. Daughter said it was good, but I could flavor it better (she's a tough critic). I personally thought it was easy to make and very tasty!

Chocolate Covered Cherries II

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
5 Star Flavor! My chocolate coating process lacked severly last night -not sure if it was the chocolate coating or the fact that I was a little timid about rolling the sugar centers out on flour. Will definitely make again and use more flour because mine melted away too quick by the chocolate when i was coating them. Some came out ok, but not what I call presentation getters! But the flavor is the bomb! Even with the melted blob appearance, they are still all gone! A definite FAV worthy recipe in my box!

Lesson learned on this one - Believe the other reviews and don't try the recipe as it is hoping it will turn out okay. Doctored it up as much as possible to try to make it work so that I didn't waste the ingredients.
