Very happily married to a man who loves trying my creations and finds my playing in the kitchen entertaining! I simply enjoy "playing" in the kitchen with new recipes. Pasta meals, breads, and unique sweets. I also love to slow cook meats until they fall apart! I grew up with my Mommy making the most awesome rolls, breads, biscuits, and pizza dough. I keep trying to be as patient as her when it comes to allowing plenty of time for the dough to rise...still trying! I made Beef Wellington using a brioche dough from my recently received book set, Mastering the Art of French Cooking. I cooked it at my Mommy's with her - she was amazed that I was patient enough to make the brioche dough! It was incredible! WOW! She found my Julia Child's accent annoying after a whole day of it! It was fun! The kids and hubby don't let me forget about this one chicken dinner that I attempted...none of us remember what it was supposed to be, we just all agree it was AWFUL! It has been known for years as "remember that one chicken dinner you made." Oh well, it makes them appreciate the average meals even more! LOL
