Wow! This bread is both easy & DELICIOUS! It's definitely a sweet bread, along the lines of 'Kings Hawaiian Sweet Bread'. I used my KA (6 qt. capacity) and I added all the flour at once. Once yeast mixture and flour were incorporated, I kneaded it on level 3 & 4 for 6 minutes, turned out, split in 2, and put in bread pans and continued with next rising and bakinig. We love it! I have made 6 loaves in three days. Oh, and a loaf of bread, warm and wrapped in a new tea towel, makes a great 'Welcome to the neighborhood' gift. Thanks for sharing this terrific recipe!
FOR THE BREAD MACHINE QUESTIONS:
Bread machines typically can't handle 6 cups of flour. Cut the recipe in half, except use 2 teaspoons of yeast. Like normal, place your wet ingredients in bread pan, top with flour, make an indent and add yeast. You have two options: 1) Remove the ball of dough after the kneading process, usually about 20 mins in, and finish as recipe indicates...or.....let it complete the whole bread-baking cycle like normal.
If you try it...post your results!
