My Best Clam Chowder
Excellent chowder. We simply love Clam Chowder, and like it thick.
First, I want to point out that, contrary to many reviews here, the recipe DOES call for you to use the clam juice. I did that, and also added some seafood stock, instead of water, to cover the veggies. Also added a tsp of Old Bay, used 1 c half and half (all I had) and the rest whole milk. It was still plenty thick enough.
Yum yum, thank you - this is going to become a staple for me.
