Fudgy Chocolate Cream Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2012
I was thrilled to make this pie for my husband whose favorite pie is Chocolate Cream. I do not like Chocolate Cream Pie so this would not be tempting. Well let me tell you. This pie is AMAZINGLY wonderful. It is now my favorite all time pie. I will be making it often.

Grandma's Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2012
Have made this recipe 3 times in the last 2 months. It is amazing. The only difference was I used Jona Gold apples. I served it with homemade whipped cream. It is a new family favorite. So delish and so easy to make!!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
After 30 years of using a family recipe I tried this one for the fun of it. AMAZING is the best word to describe. I made following recipe exactly on the first batch, on the 2nd batch the only thing I did different was to add 1 cup of walnuts. This is the perfect soft and chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie!!!

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
This was truly amazing. The Prep time for me was longer than 15 minutes, perhaps because I was making the complete all at the same time and was multi- tasking. However, hubby swooned, moaned and just raved. I served with buttered red potatoes and asparagus wrapped in phyllo. It was a truly wonderful dinner.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
I made these cookies this afternoon and they were very good. Having never made thumbprint cookies before I made a few mistakes. The first batch into the oven came out to flat and over done. So I corrected. The second batch I did not make the thumbprint so big and only cooked them 11 mins... much better. The third batch i only made the hole with my pinky and cooked 11 mins and they were perfect. Hub is presently trying to hurt himself and go on an all time sugar high. I did take the advice of others and put the cookies in the fridge for 10 minutes before cooking and it helps to retain their nice shape.
