I have finally returned to my beloved Pacific Northwest. We have bought our dream retirement home on a beautiful island in the middle of Puget Sound. Life is great with the man I married 30 years ago and enjoy being closer to my two beautiful daughters, Suzann 29 and Maggie 24

I love to cook anything and everything except seafood. When I need a quick "happy fix" I bake.

Making buckeyes until your hands go numb at the holidays. Making pies on birthday's instead of cakes.

Making a perfectly delicious Bruelle Rouge Sauce that is to die for.
My cooking tragedies
A beautiful butter pound cake in a rose shaped bundt pan.. when I went to turn it out it broke into several pieces. The same day, I destroyed a balsamic reduction. Hubby took me out to dinner.
