Banana Crumb Muffins

You probably don't need to read another review but I just HAD to stop by and say that these are AMAZING!!! By far the best banana muffin I've EVER had, and I make a lot of banana bread/muffins. I think I'll try this in a loaf next time. Thank you for the the lovely recipe!!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These are absolutely delicious! Stayed soft and chewy in a container on my counter, makes a lot of cookies so I froze some and after thawing, they still tasted amazing! I had to stop myself from eating the entire container in one sitting! So yummy!! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder

I absolutely LOVE this soup!! Made it twice now and I can't get enough of it. I use two cans of fat free evaporated milk instead of the cream and I also added a can of cream corn. Fabulous recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Great recipe; however, my changes were: used ground chicken as we don't eat red meat, added A LOT more spices like garlic salt, onion salt some pepper. I also used some fresh garlic (you know the kind out of the jar that's already minced, I guess that's not "fresh"). Other than that I kept it the same, I was just concerned about the blandness some people experienced so I upped the spices. My family loves casseroles and this one is a keeper! I also chose to bake it instead of serving it right away, so I just poured it all into a casserole dish, topped with mozza cheese and baked for about 15 minutes. Yum! Served it with some garlic bread.

Barb's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Very tasty; however, I changed a couple things so I don't know exactly how the original recipe tastes....probably just as good! I changed the quantity to 12 muffins and used 1 cup white and about 1/3 cup whole wheat and 1/3 cup flax meal, just to add some more nutrition. Used about a tsp. of vanilla too. Instead of water I used oil after reading the reviews of it being dry, etc. They are awesome!

Sue's Hot Fudge Sauce

Why would anyone ever buy hot fudge from a store again??? This is the best hot fudge I've ever had! Excellent recipe! I cut it in half but left the cocoa amount the same and added a square of unsweetened chocolate.

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

I think this is one of the best cookies I've ever eaten!! Five stars!! It would be great with chocolate chocolate chips also, milk chocolate would be delicious! Even with no chips they would be delicious, almost like a brownie. I bet macadamia nuts or even walnuts would be great. I also took the advice of others and changed the sugar amount to 2/3 cup white sugar and 2/3 cup brown sugar and increased the flour by 1/4 cup. It seemed to have worked. I definitely recommend these cookies.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Excellent cookie! I actually increased the sugar to 3/4 cup which made it exactly like the TollHouse recipe with vanilla pudding added(forgot the salt though) and switched to milk chocolate chips. They're very sweet so I wouldn't increase the sugar (especially with the milk chocolate chips). Won't last long in my household though! Very sinful but oh so delicious!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This is by far the best loaf I've ever tried. I've never cooked with zucchini before so I was a little unsure, but this turned out so amazing. I'm LOVED at the office today because of this loaf!!! Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

Vermont Spice Cake

Excellent cake, very moist and dense. The only thing I would change is to use less confectioner's sugar in the icing; it was quite sweet. I sprinkled chopped walnuts over the entire cake to finish it off.

Best Brownies

Excellent brownies!! It's so hard to choose when looking at all the brownie recipes; you just have to hope that the one you choose is as good as the reviews. This was a lovely recipe and hit the spot! I was craving brownies. The only problem was my icing was very dry at first so I mixed a teaspoon of instant coffee granules with 2 teaspoons of hot water and then poured that into the icing; it worked perfectly and I got the mocha flavor I wanted!

Butterscotch Gingerbread Cookies

Oh my gosh!!! Excellent cookie!! Whoever thought to add butterscotch morsels to a gingerbread cookie is a GENIOUS!! I wanted a change from my usual chocolate chip cookie and these turned out wonderfully!! 5 stars!

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

Excellent!! However, I must admit, I didn't use the Nestle chocolate chips. I guess mine can't be considered the "original" recipe, but I used Chipits milk chocolate chips and they're still delicious!! I might leave out the nuts next time for a change. This recipe is a definite keeper!

Bread Machine Calzone

I have to say that I didn't enjoy this at all; however, it was probably my fault for altering the recipe. I made four individual calzones instead of the one long braided one and the crust was VERY tough. I shall keep on looking for that perfect calzone dough!!

Country Oatmeal Cookie in a Jar

Excellent cookie! I made up the jar a couple of weeks ago and the only problem I had was the brown sugar went hard. I just put the jar in the microwave with a glass of water to soften it up. These cookies really are delicious!!

Autumn Cheesecake

Excellent! I cooked it for the maximum time listed and it turned out perfectly. I drizzled caramel ice cream topping over each piece before serving and it was the perfect touch! Definitely a keeper!

Blueberry Lemon Bread

Absolutely excellent!!! This cake is so nice and moist and has a wonderful taste! All the extra work of juicing the lemons is totally worth it!!! I love this bread and will make it again. I'm sure any fruit such as raspberries or cranberries could be substituted and it would taste just as good!
