Sesame Green Bean Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
This salad is tastey!! I would make it in the morning or the night before, so the favors have time to come out. I served mine chilled. The beans have a little more crunch to them it seems.

Jalapeno Chicken II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
These are not tasty at all. Suprisingly from all the great ratings. The marinating didn't seem to help. The bacon is pointless. I used whole Jalepeno's so my cream cheese didn't run all over. I boiled them a little first as another review suggested to get rid of the "Rawness". It was just very boring for all the work I did. Funny story though... My hands burnt for like 5hrs after handling the J's. Apparently your supposed to wear gloves?!? would have been nice to know

Simple Country Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
These were Delish! Simple to make. Ribs are the best when off the grill. I brushed mine with bbq sauce while they were on the grill, rather than the water/bbq mixture!

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
These Chops ROCK!!! So yummy. I put frozen drained spinach in my stuffing to add a little more somethin' somethin'! I did not use 2 1/2" chops with bone. They are hard to find. as long as its a thick(er) chop and you dont cut all the way through. The grill adds lots of flavor to them, so use the grill for sure. The gouda is a very flavourful cheese and went perfect. I will be making these again :)

Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
This pie kicks butt!!! I Followed other reviews and used 4 tbs of cornstarch, baked in centre of oven on 400, used 5 cups of blueberries, and 1 cup of sugar. I did cheat and bought pillsbury refrigerated pie crust. Sprinkled sugar and cinnamon on top! 1 cup sugar

Beef with Ramen Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
This stir fry was ok. There was nothing special about the flavor. I put the spice packet in as well from my noodles and added a little bit more soya. I dont think the grated carrot is necessary?!?

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
As other reviews said, I also used 3 egg yolks instead of the 2 whole eggs, and cornstarch instead of flour. 2 cups of coconut milk to 1 cup half & half. My pie set well, maybe too well? It tastes more like custard pie than anything. My filling is not creamy. I think the recipie definatly needs more coconut taste!

Kelsey's Favorite Stuffed Green Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
These peppers were awesome!!! Delicious. I like the idea of cutting the peppers in half and stuffing them that way opposed to stuffing a whole pepper. I used green, yellow, orange and red! (I had a mixed bag)

Jo Jo's Favorite Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
These Muffins were good! Moist, YES! I might have greased my muffin tin a little too much though as they were a little chewy on the bottom half. I only baked mine for 20 min as everyone else had suggested and that was pleanty! I used 4 bananas and it was a sufficient enough banana taste. I will probably make them again :)
