Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Made these burgers for myself and 2 year old daughter. I loved them, and so did my daughter. Put cheese on during the last 5 minutes. Served with lettuce and tomato on a whole wheat slider buns. Was great!

Muesli Bars I

I only used 3/4 of a stick of butter and I added more oats because I thought the mixture was a little buttery and greasy. I do like them, and will try to find a way to modify the recipe to cut the butter factor down because it makes the bars greasy and more of a heavy treat. I did use cranberries and almond slivers instead of hazelnuts, and that worked well! Also, I put the tray right into the fridge and then cut them into bars.

Plain Egg Less Cake

I added the vinegar, vanilla extract and extra sugar. Turned out great. Dense and with a hint of the citrus. Really great!

Condensed Milk Chocolate Frosting

Penne Pasta with Veggies

Very good dish. I only used 1/4 cup of butter, and ended up adding a can of diced tomatoes and a touch of heavy cream. The family loved it and I will make again!

Banana Bread - Quick Bread for Machines

Good recipe. I used half whole wheat flour and half all purpose flour. Also, I put in 3 bananas, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and mixed in brown sugar with the white sugar because I didn't have enough. I left the bread in the bread machine when the timer was up until it cooled down to make sure it cook all the way through. And I sprinkled cinnamon on top about 3/4 of the way through baking. Will make again when I have bananas that are on their way out! Thanks!

Beet Bundt Cake

I was super excited to make this cake even though I am not a beet person. The cake is very moist and texture was awesome. The first day it was a little too beety but the next day the chocolate really kicked in! My 21 month old loved it and thought it was chocolate cake! Next time, I will put a glaze over the top but I will make again.

Elegant Orzo with Wilted Spinach and Pine Nuts

I think I used too many pine nuts and I think I browned them a little to long. So the dish was a little to pine-nutty. Also, I didn't have enough spinach...but I will make this again with the correct amount of ingredients because it was still good despite all my little blunders.

Almost Stuffed Peppers

Made this for my family and they loved it! It was quick and easy. Next time, I will jazz up the spices a bit more but otherwise...yay recipe! Also, I served this with fajitas, salsa, sour cream and cheese. Thanks for the recipe!

Pollo Fajitas

Made this for my family and they loved it. My husband asked me to make it again. I could only find bone-in, skinless chicken thighs, and this time I am using boneless, skinless chicken breasts because it's what's in the 'fridge. I am sure it will be great again. Thanks for the recipe!
