Diana's Hawaiian Bread Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2013
These were really good but didn't taste like hawaiian bread. They would be fine most of the time but I was really craving the real sweet Hawaian bread

Kid-Friendly Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2012
I made this bread as written except for forgetting to listen for the oven alarm at the end of baking! Woops!!! Well It still turned out delicious. The crust was a little tough but the center was amazing! I'm 99.9% sure the crust would have been perfect if I would have paid a little closer attention;) Being new to bread making (the second recipe I tried (the first one I have been successful at) I found this recipe to be easy and a great way to understand how every step it is suppose to look becasue the discription in the recipes were perfect! Thanks for a GREAT recipe!!!

Hands down the bestnpancakes I've ever made fromn scratch OR from a box!!!! They were so easy and so very delicious my kids kept asking for more I thought I was going to need to make more!!! After I made a few I did add some shavings of almond bark to the last half of the batch! That was yummy!!!! Next time ill try chicilare chips or blueberries!!! Maybe even chopped strawberries!!! Sooooooooo good plus we don't eat processed anymore so this os great for that too! I do want to try it with wholewheat flower next time and see how that turns out!!!!!

Cucumber Sandwich

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
YUMMY!!! I used Sandwich Thins by Oroweat for bread and I didn't have any red wine (forgot to grab it at the store) so I used balsamic. I'm excited to try it with the red wine vinegar! With the Sandwich thins it had a weight watchers points plus vale of 5! A lot of food for just 5 points!!!

Zippy Shrimp Linguine

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
It was good! I need to master the timing on this meal because it's one where you are always doing something... I overcooked the shrimp just a little bit and made it slightly chewy & the pasta sat too long and got a little mushy. It's a good idea to read it through and make a plan on how it will all come together.

Moroccan Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
It was all right. I wouldn't say I was super impressed. It's pretty spicy. I like spicy but it was hard to taste the veggies because it was so spicy! Kind of disapointed since there were such rave reviews!

Three Cheese Baked Ziti

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
OMG this was so yummy!!! I used Cottage cheese instead of ricotta because I don't usually like the dryness of the ricotta cheese in Lasagna and usually do the same thing with my Lasagna! It's also cheaper if you are on a budget! This was a hit with the whole family and my daughter took some leftover in her thermos today and said it was still yummy!!!

Vegetable Fried Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
It really needed some carrots so when I was all done I chopped up some carrots and stir fried them seperately and added them to the recipe! I also used frozen peas instead of canned (more nutricious) and added them with the onions and pepper! Next time I might put half of the pepper flakes just because my kids thought it was spicy but it wasn't too spicy for me and I'm not big on a lot of spice! I also added some chicken for some protein and we had this as a meal instead of a side!!! It was so very yummy! Even without my adjustments it was really good I just thought carrots would add nutrition and some bulk since it was the only course!!! ****Now that ive made this ohhhh I don't know....100+ times I wanted to add a few things! This recipe is so easy to adjust to your liking! First of all if you aren't vegan you can take 1-2 eggs, beat them and add them in last then stir fry until eggs are cooked! Be sure to get the veggies in there right away once chicken is in there or you will end up with crunchy veggies... unless of course you like crunchy veggies! I put chopped chicken in and imeadiately start chopping and adding veggies! We also use brown rice! I cook 2 cups dry rice seperately in my rice cooked then just blend it all together before adding sesame oil or seeds!
