About this Cook
I love to cook I just don't like to decide what to cook!!! I have 3 children 6,3,and 1 and a wonderful husbad. Life is hectic! I'm highly involved in my church and I'm an accomplished Mary Kay consultat!!!
My favorite things to cook
Chicken Tortillia soup...my own recipe that I personalized from another recipe. Lately I've really been into stir fry! I LOVE crock pot recipes because they are so simple for a busy day!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family favorites are potato casserole and orange salad made with cottage cheesse and orange jello among a couple of other ingredients! I really need to submit that one:)
My cooking triumphs
Growing up all I ever remember having or dinner is baked chicken or spaghetti! My Mom hates to cook therefore she never taught me how. When i got married all I knew how to make was spagetti or hamburger helper! I didn't even have chicken figured out! Hubby got me started with some basic suggestions (he did know how to cook) and I found allrecipes.com and went wild! I love to cook now thanks to allrecipes.com! It's not the only place I get my recipes anymore but I get at least 3/4 of them here!!!
My cooking tragedies
Was folling a Pampered chef recipe when I first began cooking. Pampered chef calls their big stock pots "casseroles" I don't know about you but to me a casserole is the type of dish my mom use to bake casseroles made from ceramic, glass or metal. Well since it was PC I decided that they must be talking about the stone casserole dish and was instructing me to place it on the stove. So I did and turned on the heat and it broke right in half. OH I was so frustrated!!! I later figured out my mistake and I still make that recipe to this day! It's one of my favorites!!! Having the proper tools makes all the difference!!!

I've used this recipe a ton. I have not alerted the recipe except to add chocolate chips and other toppings. They come out perfect everytime

Yummy! We is this as meat to make our typical tacos or burritos. Its so good, healthy, and cheaper than ground beef. WIN WIN WIN.

Diana's Hawaiian Bread Rolls
These were really good but didn't taste like hawaiian bread. They would be fine most of the time but I was really craving the real sweet Hawaian bread
