Garlic Parmesan Olives

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
I really liked this recipe, the family thought it was ok but they aren't olive lovers. It was really great the next day. It had such a great flavor after sitting over night I had to chop it all up finely and eat it over little crostinis I made from of a loaf of french bread I had on hand. It was soooo good.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
So great and easy to alter. I didn't have everything on hand so I used apples, nectarines, grapes, and strawberries. I used my homemade strawberry lemon marmalade and it was so awesome!!

Lobster Bisque

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
Super easy. We substituted crawfish meat for lobster and it was great. I bet its even better with lobster. My husband thought it would be really good as a sauce over pasta if it were a bit thicker, I'll give that a go next time.

Chicken Spaghetti Casserole I

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
This tasted good and everyone liked it, but it was about the same as something I already make on the stove top that is much much easier. I will probably stick to my stovetop meal.

Bleu Cheese Coleslaw

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
I served this with buffalo chicken sandwiches. We actually ended up putting the slaw on the sandwich as it just helped to round out the sandwich.

Avocado Chicken Wraps

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
Made with BBQ sauce and used prepared guacamole the second time instead of just avacado at the request of my family. We will have this periodically as everyone likes it, even the baby.

Cheesy Creamed Spinach

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
Yummy, my husband and daughter even loved it and they can't stand spinach. I used some mozerella and extra parmesan because I had some to get rid of. Awesome will make again for sure.

Triple Bypass

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2010
Just what I expected, gooey, cheesy, greasy, yumminess. Not for the faint of heart, though. We were all miserable after consuming. That's the point though right?

Sweet and Spicy Picante Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This was so delicious. I used a medium salsa so it was a little spicy for the kids, next time I will use mild. The flavor was perfect spicy, sweet, YUMM!! My husband who doesn't really like to eat chicken and usually will only eat half a breast went back and got the rest. He also said, "You could make that again". That is really saying something!!

Everyone really liked these, I served them with a nece salad and whipped up some easy tartar sauce with a little extra dill weed to complement the salmon.

Sweet and Spicy Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
We eat sweet potato fries alot but my husband liked these much better. They cooked more evenly and faster for that matter. My daughter prefers the taste of the fries that I had made with brown sugar, nutmeg, etc. but these were a hit nonetheless.

Quickie French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This was really good and very easy to make. Ny husband who doesn't like to eat soup because it doesn't fill him up didn't even eat his salad. He was too full, I guess this one is very satisfying. I'll make this one again for sure.

Spicy Tuna Sushi Roll

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This was descent, it was a little fishy tasting, but it was ok. I made too much sushi for dinner and had some leftovers for lunch the next day. I actually think this one tasted better the next day. The tuna seemed a lttle dry, maybe more mayo? I used the pouched white tuna as recommended by a couple of reviews.

Ham and Pineapple Kabobs

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
I didn't actually use the glaze in the recipe because I was in a major time pinch. I had some teriyaki glaze in the fridge and used that and it turned out great. I intend on using the full recipe at a later date, but I know it will be just as good if not better. Super easy to throw together. I let the kids, even the very young ones, help make dinner and they loved eating the kabobs. We ran out in no time, next time I will make twice as many.

Ham Salad Pitas

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
My husband was skeptical about this recipe. He has asked me to make some ham salad with our leftover Christmas ham, but when he read the recipe he wasn't conviced. I made this as well as the normal mayo, pickle, etc. ham salad. He like this one better after all. My daughter also ate this very well and it went great with pitas. I did use 1/2 the sour cream and lemon and I am glad I did, it wouldn't have suited our tastebuds as well if it were much more sour.

Chinese Cabbage Salad I

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
I loved this recipe. I subbed peanuts because I had them on hand and used Splenda instead of white sugar just to keep down the calories. I am not a big Splenda eater so it took a couple of bites to get used to the "artificial" taste, but it was excellent anyway. I bet it is even better with the real thing.

Quick and Yummy Hummus

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
Very "yummy" and very easy. The second time I doubled the recipe because my kids love hummus and it kept well in the refridgerator. I used 3/4 cup of yogurt for the doubled recipe because I like my hummus a little thicker, I also added more garlic. The taste is fine without extra, I just LOVE garlic. I may add a little less lemon juice next time, it seemed a little overpowering, but my daughter thought it was just right.
