About this Cook
I have been in two serious relationships my whole life. My first was with a punjabi man & he was a very basic eater. he did not like to try new things,or go out of his comfort zone. Therefore my enjoyment for cooking was non-existent,I cooked only to provide My current husband loves food, food of almost any kind. He enjoys cooking too & is wonderful at it. He is always willing to try my new concoctions (strange as they sometimes are). He & my children have given me a new found passion for experimenting with our meals.
My favorite things to cook
I am not a healthy cook by no means. I love bacon & to me just about anything tastes better with it. Most of our meat consists of cream sauces, homeade b-b-q sauces, wrapped in bacon & cheese. My family looks forward to the weekends because I always cook a big breaky, often times the only 'together' time we get in the childrens fast paced popularity!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I really don't have any from growing up, as I had 7 brothers & sisters,so we ate boring, cheap meals. I hope one day it will be a tradition...I love to cook with my husband!
My cooking triumphs
Not sure I have any amazing triumphs,I guess when the husband & my kids are quiet at the table eating & no one is spitting out their meal,I'v done well
My cooking tragedies
I cannot for the life of me make brownies! I have tried sooo many recipes, from scratch to the package & I still manage to mess them up! My strong suit is not my baking that's for sure.

Cola Onion Pork Chops
I made one change to this recipe. I fast fried them in a skillet first with oil & butter, seasoning with a little garlic pepper. Then I did exactly what the recipe said, but the frying cut my time in half I wanted my hubby to guess as to what I used but he had no idea, just they were juicy & succulent! He told me I could definitely cook them again. I paired them with the 'scored potatoes',also from & fried peapods w/ a dash of parmesan & seasoning. Excellent recipe!
