Delightful Apple Spice Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2014
I changed the recipe somewhat. I made additions of chocolate chips ,raisins and walnuts. I also did not use margarine or eggs-just more of my homemade unsweetened applesauce. They were awesome. Today I am making them and using craisins in them as well--oh-used stevia as well. I figured about 55 calories per muffins when all the changes are considered.

Tina's Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
We loved the fruit portion of the cobbler, I thought the crust was bland-so when I heated it for serving I added a spoonful of sugar-and it made it especially yummy. I also used this recipe and stuck it in a pie--the neighbors raved!!! I am going to use it again today and use a crumble topping.

Kelli's Fried Green Zucchini

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
I cant take complete credit for this suggestion-but, the recipe is much easier if you lay them out in a shallow baking dish and bake them-much more healthy!!

Sweet 'N' Tangy Freezer Pickles

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
Easy to make- I will grow more pickling cukes next year so I can create these yummy pickles-However, I used a cocktail of vinegars-balsamic,cider and white-it gives them an unique flavor-also used anchondo green chilis--yum and homegrown onions--now to keep from eating them all in one day.

Mom's Coleslaw

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2010
If you like cole slaw like granny used to make, this is it. I used sea salt and groud peppercorns-I added just a pinch of celery flakes which I mixed in with the dressing. This recipe is simple and simply spectacular.
