Dump Cake V

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
I made this for an easy weekend dessert. Only thing I did differnt was use pecans instead of walnuts and placed them under the cake mix to prevent burning as others suggested. My fiance and kids loved it.

Creme Brulee French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Excellent french toast recipe. This was super easy and the brandy really did add good flavor. I did reduce the sugar to 3/4 cup and used maple syrup in place of the corn syrup. I also only used 4 eggs to reduce the egginess that others had mentioned. I had no problem with mine sticking to the pan either. I topped mine with a little cinnamon and powdered sugar with a dollop of whipped cream. My kids like it sweet :)

Easy Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
Easy and Delicious. I followed the recommendations of other reviewers and only used 4 eggs, a full cup of juice and 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk. I live in a small town and no one sells key lime juice so I used 7oz of regular lime juice and 1oz of lemon juice. The pie was finished by the end of dinner. Yummy!

Easy Never Forgotten Guacamole

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
I've been making a similar recipe for years. It's so easy and delicious. I like to use pico de gallo instead of salsa. Either way you go, you can't mess this one up. Its a must try.

My toddler daughter ate all of her green beans and mine. So tasty and tender. Upon advice of other reviwers I used 1/2 water and 1/2 chicken stock. This will be a new go to recipe for green beans for my house.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
Omg, these were so good. My husband went back for thirds. I cut the recipe down to 6 servings. I added extra cheese and used 1 1/2 sticks of butter instead of the 2 sticks recommended. I aslo roasted the garlic before adding it to the potatoes. **FYI, if your in a hurry( like I always am) you can roast garlic in the microwave. Peel the excess paper off and trim the top off the garlic head exposing the individual cloves. Lather the entire head in olive oil. Place on paper towel and microwave for 30 seconds or less. Flip garlic on other side and microwave another 30 seconds or less. Be careful not to overcook though. It'll be like chewy cardboards. Then just squeeze gently and the garlic cloves come out easily.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
These were super tasty and moist. I followed the ingredient list, but I did have to alter the cooking method. I browned the chops on the stove in some olive oil with the onions. I removed the onions and chops after browning so I could make a rue with 2 tbsp flour and 2 tbsp butter. I then added the pork chops back in with the onions. I then added the chicken bouillon / water mixture. I cooked on the stovetop on medium low for 45 minutes. After finished cooking I removed the chops and added the sour cream to the sauce. Not a single drop of the sauce or chops were left. Very good recipe.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
These were oh so good and easy to make. I bought premade Nestle Tollhouse cookie dough and Duncan Hines Butter Cake Mix. I hardened the cookie dough in the freezer for 30 minutes and prepared the mix as directed. I filled the cupcake wells only 1/2 full, then placed cookie dough on top then filled with more batter. I baked for exactly 18 minutes and they came out great. I frosted with the creamy chocolate frosting recipe from this site. These were delicious and will definately make again.

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2010
Made this frosting to go on top of cookie dough cupcakes from this site. Very easy to make. I also used skim milk instead of evaporated milk. I followed the recipe for 12 servings and I had more than enough to frost 24 cupcakes. Great chocolate frosting, and not to sweet.
