Applesauce Pork Loin

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
We had this for supper tonight and have to say it is really flavourful and moist. Super good. Made a couple of changes... left out salt and ground about a teaspoon of rosemary and mixed with the apple sauce and Dijon etc before covering the roast with the mixture. Definitely will make again.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
Good, but I think I will continue to use the recipe on the Quaker box of Golden Corn Meal. 1 1/2 c corn meal, 1/2 c flour, 1/4 c sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 4 tsp baking powder, 1 egg, 1 c milk, 1/4 c vegetable oil. Beat only until there are some small lumps remaining. Pour into greased 8" pan. Bake 425 F 20-25 minutes.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak II

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2010
Great, but I made a few changes. Left out the salt because of the soy sauce and left out the sugar, switched the green peppers for red (which are sweeter than green). Thanks for the recipe.

Stuffed Pork Chops III

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
Made a couple of changes to the recipe.... I used Stove Top Stuffing mix for Chicken with less sodium and chicken broth instead of beef. Tasted great and definitely will make again... and again!

Cafeteria Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
Have made this numerous times now and it's always been a hit. Have done it with a variety of cheeses from mild to old as well as added some blue at times. Only actual change I do make is to add one beaten egg to the milk mix.

Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
Excellent recipe and easy to add other veggies such as mushrooms and or celery. I switched the green pepper for red as they are sweeter. Also, added the herbs only during the last 15 minutes of cooking as basil loses its flavour fast if cooked longer.
