Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
Yikes, I was surprised how badly this turned out after reading the reviews. Definately one of the worst recipes I have made from this site and I have made a lot! Very bland and 9 hours on low was way too long, chops were very dry.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2009
FINALLY, after years of searching, I have found the perfect peanut butter chocolate chip cookie! This cookie is the perfect balance between a chewy and soft cookie. I think the peanut butter taste is perfect but if you like ALOT of peanut butter taste, it is easy to add a bit more peanut butter! YUM!

Potato Crust Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2008
I thought I would give this a try because it sounded interesting but I would not make it again. It was pretty bland and the flavors just did not meld with the hashbrowns. Thanks anyway!

Mary's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
This was not nearly as good as I expected it to be after all the good reviews. It came out a little dry and somewhat bland. The cubes of bread just did not work, bread crumbs are much better. And the cooking time is way too long. I cooked mine for 70 minutes and it was almost overdone. Will not make agian.

Banana Chip Muffins II

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
These are so good! It is hard to believe they are low fat! I used half wheat/half white flour, just a tad less sugar and the whole egg. Will be making agian.

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2007
Best pizza crust I have ever made and it is healthy too! Changed it up a bit, used 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour and 1 1/4 cups white flour and just used one packet of yeast which I think is 2 1/4 teaspoons. Makes 2 large size thin crust pizza's.

Thai Peanut Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
I thought this was great! Used low-sodium soy sauce and unsalted peanuts and it was not too salty at all. Decreased the amount of cayenne to 1/8 of tsp. and thought that was plenty. Will definately be making this again!

Great recipe but seems strange that it is identical to a recipe in The Cake Doctor recipe book??

Jewish Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
Wow, after reading all the great comments, I expected more! The cake itself was pretty bland and was very hard to spread. Replaced the powdered sugar with brown sugar but really was not all that tasty. The cook time is way off, mine took a little over 30 minutes. Edible but would not make again.

Barley Bake

This is a really good vegetarian side dish, especially for a pot-luck. It seems to be missing some sort of spice though, still need to figure that out.

Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2006
This was a good basic/starter recipe for split pea soup but I made several changes to fit my taste. I did not like the addition of the potato so I will leave that out next time. I also added less onion and added 2 tsp garlic. When it was does, I used a wisk to stir and mash the peas a little bit. Turned out great.

Kabob Marinade

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2005
This is definately the best chicken marinade we have ever made! The only things we did differantly was using half yellow mustard and half dijon mustard as well as cutting the oil all the way down to 1 tablespoon. There is no need for that much oil as this chicken has turned out superb everytime was have made it. We usually just use whole chicken breasts, marinate them all day and then cook them on the BBQ. Awesome!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2005
This recipe was great. It is so easy and delicious. I added cornstarch to the juices and boiled it on the stove top and it made a wonderful gravy. This is now my new recipe for pork tenderloin! Not too salty at all for us, although we did use low sodium soy sauce.

Chicken Vicious

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2004
I was really dissapointed with this recipe after reading all the great reviews! I guess it was just not my taste because it was waaaay too tangy and salty! I tried adding more sugar but that did not help. I gave it two stars because my husband thought it was okay but I will not be making this agian.
