Basic Corn Muffins

Love them! I only added 2 extra ingredients which were 1/4 cup of sour cream and 1/2 tsp of vanilla. I read a previous review and someone mentioned that so I said why not? I had some on hand anyway. Other than that, I only did the steps differently. First I combined the dry ingredients in a bowl. Then I beat the eggs in a separate bowl for a few minutes until frothy with a hand mixer and then mixed in all the rest of the wet ingredients. After, I started adding the dry ingredients. I then used a 1/4 measuring cup to pour the mix into butter greased muffin pans. I didn't have muffin liners on hand but they popped right out when done. They were super fluffy and not dry or dense at all. They are also not too sweet. My dad even mentioned he would have like them a little sweeter! I also topped some with chopped pecans before baking and a drop of honey on each after baking. I will be making these often!

Classic Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

I've never made buttercream icing before buti checked out a few recipes before I settled on this one. I figured with the egg yolk custard and only one cup of suger it wouldn't be so sweet. I despise overly sweet frosting. I was right. It was perfectly sweet and so smooth. The taste was so light I loved it. I followed the recipe exactly. I had no lumpy eggs or runniness. If you constantly stir while its cooking it wont clump also keep stirring at least until its warm while you cool it.it'll get thicker when it cools. Beat the butter until its creamy then add half the egg mixture and beat, then ad the remaining mixture and beat till fluffy. I used 7 tblsp of powdered sugar just because it was for my lil brother's birthday cake and I wanted it just a Tad bit sweeter for him. I will be using this recipe for all my special birthday cakes. Thank you!

Best Brownies

These Brownies are awesome! To me they are the best Brownies. They are between a fudgy cake and regular browny texture. If your looking for them to be chewy like the box version. Let them cool then stick them in the fridge for the next day. Just baked goods tend to be soft and crumbly. They are sooo chocolatey and chewy the next day. We tried them with I icing and it was good but really it didn't need it unless you like really sweet brownies. Well definitely make this again whenever we want a chocolate fix!

Best Moist Chocolate Cake

Its delicious! lol im eating a piece right now, its very moist and fluffy and you can taste the chocolate but if your looking for something extremely sweet and chocolatey you should probably look for another recipe. I like it though, i frosted it with store bought chocolate frosting which is all i had on had, i had a big craving for chocolate and i needed a recipe that called for cocoa powder rather than chocolate bars. Its great its not overly sweet and complements the frosting very well. Thanks for the recipe!

I made this for my tiramisu because I didn't like the ladyfingers I bought from whole foods. They were too small. The ones I made from this recipe looked like the picture shown but flatter. I might not have beaten the eggs enough also the heat from mykitchen may have kept the batter too liquid. Next time I will make sure to beat the yolks till they are a very pale yellow and refrigerate the batter for a few mins. Thanks for the recipe!

Classic Tiramisu

Great recipe! It came out delicious. I added a 1/2 cup of Marsala sweet wine gradually to the egg yolk mixture while it was on the double broiler. Try it! It gives it amazing flavor. Also I just dunked the ladyfingers in instant dark coffee with 1 tablespoon of the wine. If your serving kids I would just make another small batch for them sans the wine. I don't think I would make without the wine though it adds such a gourmet flavor. Thanks for the recipe!

Plain Cake Doughnuts

Awesome! My lil brother and I made them when he spent the weekend and it was so much fun. Very easy recipe with simple ingredients. I will use this when I have a donut craving. I added pumpkin spice and vanilla and I did have to constantly flour my board and I placed dough in the fridge for a few minutes before rolling the dough. They plumped up really nice when frying and were not greasy at all. Thanks!

Funnel Cakes IV

ToGreat recipe! I halved it because I was craving sugar and I didn't need to make so many. I used a pastry bag to drop the dough in the oil and I also replaced half of the flour with whole wheat flour just to add a lily nutritional value. Hey I tried! It actually came out great. Nice and crispy. I couldn't tell the difference.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

thank you for posting such wonderful recipe! i was looking for banana nut bread recipe and yours was the first one i saw on google, with so many rave reviews it is proof its a great recipe. Although i did accomodate it for my own tastes, like chef sandra i used 3/4 cup of butter and slightly less sugar, only 1 and a 1/2 cup. I also added vanilla and pumpkin pie spice. I baked it at 325 because my oven tends to be very hot and let it bake for 50 mins. I covered the loaves with foil fifteen mins before the time was up because they were already a deep brown and i didnt want the top to burn before the inside was done. With the tweeks it tastes perfectly sweet not to sweet, and it has a yummy banana flavor and very moist! it is a lil dense so make sure not to over mix the dough because it can make it too chewy and dense. love it! it would make a good breakfast with some milk whenever your in a hurry! I love it with a glass of orange juice!
