Chef John's Caramel Apple Pie
I made this today and it tasted very good. It comes out of the oven very pretty with the lattice top and nicely browned. As suggested I did flower the apples but it was very runny. Perhaps I did something wrong, but I did follow it to the letter. I would consider it more of a cobbler than a pie, because no matter how long you cool it, it cannot be sliced and must be scooped. I will make it again because it tastes great, but will serve in bowls with ice cream.

Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie
This one is a to die for winner. I made a minor adjustment and added 1/2 cup sour cream to the sweetened condensed milk and cream cheese. It was just a little too sweet at that point for me. It was absolutely delicious. Not sure the second pie will make it for a party next weekend. My husband is hesitant to share.

Oven Roasted Potatoes
I've gotten rave reviews on this recipe. I now use it for other vegetables and just reduce the heat a little. Excellent for almost any veggie. I leave the red pepper flakes out since the rest gives all the flavor you could ever want. It's a keeper.
