Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
This was okay but I won't make again.I did not like the flavor the seasoning packet gave it (from uncle Ben's) it didn't taste homemade with the seasoning packet taste.

Baked Spinach

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2010
My husband and I both thought this was delicious. I did add extra cheese to the egg mixture in the middle, but other than that followed the recipe. Will defiantly make again.

Meatball Nirvana

I made these to go in spagetti, I left out the parmesean cheese because I didn't have any and used only 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes and left out the red hot. They were perfect.

I thought these were "okay" and my husband didn't like them at all. I think they would be great for kids, but we thought they tasted pretty borning.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
I made the recipe as written and found it a little bland (I did let it sit a day). I like more pumpkin taste. Served it with Easy Devonshire Cream from this site which was good.

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
Cook the noodles first and then put them in the soup. I didn't do this (ignored other reviews) and the soup had a definate starchy taste to it. I ended up adding a little tarrogon to cover up the taste. Will make again but with the above change.

Gypsy Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
Yummy, I made this two weeks in a row. I made as directed but substituted one pound of cooked lean ground beef for the garbanzo beans. The flavor was wonderful. Served with cornbread once and jasmine rice the second time.

Amish Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2005
My boyfriend at it 3 times the first night and 2 times the second so it must be good. I left out the onion because I didn't have it and put in garlic powder instead. I did not find this too sweet as some said but that is personal preference. The bacon was such a good ideal I put on 3 slices.

California Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2004
This was really good but I have some words of wisdom. Don't be scared of using the blackening seasoning- It is perfect with 2 T and not too spicy. After reading the other reviews I have to wonder if some others were using creole seasoning. Big difference. Make sure it says blackening seasoning. I used grape tomatoes and wheat pasta. It was perfect.

Chicken Tortilla Soup II

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2003
This was great. I did add more cayanne and a can of corn. I didn't thing the tortillas in the soup were bad. I cut them up real small so that if they got mushy it would be okay.
