Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
This was good but we prefer this dish without the soy sauce and less milk.

Peanut Butter Cup Grilled Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
I didn't think these were overly fantastic but my daughter seemed to like them. I think she even made them for breakfast one day. It is a good way to get that chocolate fix when chips are the only thing you've got in the house.

Taco Salad III

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
Super dellish. The kids enjoyed the cruch of the chips in the salad. I used ranch dressing this time, but will look for the Catalina next time. Both are a refreshing change from regular salsa and sour cream. Thanks for the recipe!

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
Yummy, yummy! I've wanted to try something like this for a while. I did as another reviewer said and addesd some mayo and water to make them puff up while baking (about 1/2 cup and 1/4 cup respectively). I'll work on them not sticking to the pan next time.

Vegan Agave Cornbread Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
Delish! I had regular whole wheat flour and regular skim milk on hand so that's what I used. I used half the agave nectar because I don't like them super sweet. The applesauce made them fantastic.

Cream Soup Base

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
This was a FANTASTIC base, the addition of the chicken boullion made it delicious. I will use this for all my future cream soups. This time I added: 2 chopped up baked potatoes, some dried onion (at the beginning with the flour), some crumbled bacon and a couple scoops of sour cream. We topped it with cheese and chives.

Dark Chocolate Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
This just didn't have all the flavor I thought it would with a full can of sweetened condensed milk. The crust was also pretty dry and flavorless. It did seem to taste better the next day after having been in the fridge.

Brown Rice and Black Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
This was delish! I loved the combination of veggies and spices. I tripled the rice, used cheddar cheese (that's what we had) and added more carrots as per other reviews. When I served it I had chips and salsa so my husband poured that on and said it was even better. Thanks for the recipe!

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
These are definitely not "buffalo" chicken fingers. It is a nice start for a regular breaded chicken piece, but even then it lacks flavor. I made some as is, and then followed suggestions of other reviewers: make a sauce of 1 part melted butter, 2 parts wing sauce- after the chicken is mostly cooked, dip pieces in the sauce and cook for another 3-5 minutes. I will keep the recipe for the procedure on breading which was good, but will continue to try to improved the flavor. My non-buffalo chicken eating children liked them with sauce of some kind.

Broccoli With Lemon Almond Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
I made this for a non-traditional side dish at Easter. My broccoli loving family thought it was top notch.

Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
We're fans of balsamic vinegar around here so I thought we would love this dish. I doubled the sauce, like others suggested and I never did get it to thicken. The chicken was very tender, but just not a flavor we loved.

Creamy Cheesy Scrambled Eggs with Basil

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
The key here is to stir the eggs the whole time. I'm not fond of cheddar in my eggs so I may try something else next time. Without basil they were just yummy scrambled eggs.

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
OK tasting, served over cheese ravioli. I melted the butter, whisked in 1 TBLS flour, and 1/2 cup milk instead of using cream because I didn't have any. THen I stirred that into the tomato mixture.

Ethiopian Cabbage Dish

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2011
Delicious flavors! I wasn't impressed with the cabbage and the carrots. After being cooked for so long they were quite shriveled. I've experimented with when to add them but haven't figured it out yet. Maybe I should just cut them larger, I don't know.

Cabbage and Noodles

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
I cut up the bacon into bits and began to fry it as I chopped the onions. Add the onions and cook as you chop the cabbage. Add the cabbage until it's wilting and then add the noodles. Super easy and quick to prepare.

Pork Brine

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
This was definately delish. I believe I cut everything in half except for the ice cubes. Make sure to rinse the brine off ENTIRELY since it is very salty.

Simply delicious. I quartered the biscuits (maybe they were the grande ones) and made 24 cups.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
These do not disappoint in the chewy department! Medium Pampered Chef scoop, baked for 15 minutes makes about 2 1/2 dozen. Melt the butter, but flour does not need to be sifted. The verdict is still out on if the dough needs to be refrigerated or not.

Orange Whole Wheat Pancakes

Reviewed: May 16, 2010
Um. Yum!!! I didn't have the orange extract so I used lemon like someone else suggested. I liked them as is with butter, my daughter used syrup.

Mama's Asian Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: May 10, 2010
Yumalicious and nice and spicy. Double the sauce, add cornstarch/water as needed. We served it over quinoa, but brown rice would have been better. Definitely add veggies next time.
