Absolutely fabulous! I took the advice of others and dipped the chicken in egg first, then rolled it around in the bread crumbs to coat it completely(added paprika, garlic and some other seasonings, too, because I only had plain bread crumbs on hand). My mallet's head broke off, so I pounded down the chicken breasts with a coffee mug and folded them in half around a thick piece of swiss and 3 pieces of ham (didn't have any toothpicks, but they stayed together quite nicely). Added another piece of cheese at the last 2 minutes of cooking and...perfection! We topped it with BBQ sauce and had cheesy-garlic mashed on the side. Best meal we've had all week!
