Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
excellent marinade!!....I did and entire cut up chicken in this and it was a big hit with the whole family, even my 6yr old son!!...I let it sit for about 5 hours or so...next time I'll try it overnight for even more flavor!!...I halved the recipe and it was just right for a whole chicken in a gallon ziplock bag...I did leave out the salt, I think the worc. and soy have plenty....thanks for a great recipe!!

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: May 8, 2010
this was very nice....I can see doing it for a holiday breakfast as I prepared it the night before and let it sit overnight...I let it warm up for about 30 minutes at room temperature and then baked at 350....dusted it with powdered sugar and topped with some syrup...my son really enjoyed it!

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
great recipe...they got gobbled up at this house...including my picky 6yr old son!!...I made a half recipe for the 3 of us....I found some potato rolls in the Walmart bakery that were perfect...I browned a lb of 93% lean beef with 1/2 a packet of "beefy onion" soup mix(that's what I had)....drained the little fat that was there and allowed the mixture to cool for 15 minutes or so...added a little bit less mayo than called for and a little more cheese than was called for and found the mixture to be quite stiff...NOT sloppy joe like at all...you could form patties if you wanted to...spread it on the rolls wrapped in prepared foil and onto a sheet pan...the bottoms did come out a bit crispy, so I'll skip the pan next time...I think the addition of some carmelized chopped onion would make these even better....thanks so much for a great recipe...we will make these again and again!!!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Really delicious!! Living in west Tx, we have some great Mexican food, but these may be our favorite enchilada's ever!!...only change was that I used green enchilada sauce and the cheese I put in the enchilada's was Queso Fresco(Mexican cheese)...I also used regular sized tortilla's and ended up with 12 enchilada's in my baking dish...they really are fantastic!!!...thanks for the recipe!!!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
Let's just say I wasn't expecting much from this recipe...but boy was I wrong!!! This is one delicious meal!! I used ground chicken instead of beef and left out the chile sauce and ginger(I didn't have any), but I was REALLY impressed with the flavor....my wife and I ate the entire bowl for dinner and I'm already planning on making this again(with the chile sauce this time). I'm not the biggest fan of water chesnuts and was hesitant to use the whole can...but they added the best crunch!!! I'm also thinking of adding some peanuts as well. Thanks so much for a GREAT recipe!!

Chiles Rellenos Pie

made this a while we enjoyed it, it just seemed to be missing something....I'll probably try it again with a few tweaks....there also seemed to be to much "batter" for my liking.

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
great recipe!!...made for valentines day and the wife loved it....the sauce and toppings are great and really make the steak...I went with a shiraz and not the port, as port is a little to sweet for me....served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes....and roasted parmesan green beans....this is definately a keeper....only other change was I had my oven turned up to 400
