Easy Weeknight Tuna Pot Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
I only used 1 can of tuna and a small fist full of frozen vegetables. This recipe was delicious! I made it for a house full of five toddlers and they all loved it! It was filling and had great flavor!

Slow Cooker Carnitas

Will make them again without the cinnamon. The cinnamon flavor stood out to me and it didn't compliment well.

Only 4 stars because I didn't feel like it was really a cookie but it did taste pretty good!

Light Easy Creamy PHILLY Spaghettini

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
The flavor was really good! It actually turned out a little dry but it was my own fault. I added a little more flour after making the sauce because it seemed a little runny. I'll know better next time!

Groovy Green Smoothie

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
I doubled the recipe because I have a Home Daycare and needed enough for all of the kids. We all loved it! I wasn't sure how it would go with it being green but that just made it more exciting for the kids! It's very filling so they didn't even want a snack after gulping this down. I will be making this often!

Annemarie's Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
This is my new favorite dessert! Doubled the filling, added lemon zest of one lemon to the crust and filling, used 1/2 real lemon juice and 1/2 artificial lemon juice. I can't get enough! *When you zest the lemon, only add the bright yellow. The lighter color underneath will give a bitter taste.

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2010
I used frozen egg noodles and cream of chicken instead of mushroom. Didn't add onion or peas. I had to adjust the recipe so the kids would eat it but they loved it and I'm sure it's delicious if made as the recipe is listed. Will be trying this again as it is listed!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
About 3 average lemons to equal 1/3 cup. Roll them on the counter before you cut them and the juice will release and be easier to squeeze. I don't think you would need to blend the ingredients. Just add them all to a bag. The oil will make everything stick to the sides of whatever you are mixing in. Mix yourself and then add the meat. You can add or take out anything but I think this is a great marinade!!

I thought these were absolutely great! Nobody else in my family likes pineapple so I probably won't make these often but would be great take to parties!

Beefy Baked Ravioli

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2010
I skipped the diced tomatoes because I'm not a huge fan of them and used the whole bag of ravioli's. Delicious! I prepared it early in the day and refrigerated until dinner time which saved a little time in the evening. I will make this instead of lasagna from now on!

Grandma Johnson's Scones

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
The scone's were rather large so I would form about 15 triangles. I made them with dried cranberries and shaved almonds. The additions didn't do this justice. The dough that cooked didn't taste good to me.

Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
I kept the noodles seperate and glad I did. The meat is great but not so much with noodles. I will make the meat mixture regularly but alone with sides or with mashed potatoes instead of noodles.

IMO these meatballs tasted like little balls of meatloaf. The sauce that comes after being baked is the perfect topping.
