Kalbi (Marinated Beef Short Ribs)

I've used this recipe a handful of times. Each time I made it, everyone raved about the ribs, even scooping up the last drop of juice and and pouring it over their rice. Since I do not have a grill, I cooked the ribs in the oven. I used aluminum foil to seal the ribs like a tent and gave it more of a steam effect so that they came out very tender; the meat was falling off of the bones. I cooked it in 400 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Pot Stickers Traditional

Excellent recipe! I've used other pot sticker recipes before and they never turned out with the flavor that I liked but this recipe is very flavorful and delicious. I found that if I seal the pot sticker with egg, the edges will stick better. Also, I will cover the pan immediately after pouring the water into the frying pan because the oil will not mix well with the water and it will splatter all over the place.

Cream Corn Like No Other

I've tried a couple of other creamed corn recipes but this is by far, the favorite. It has a hint of sweetness and the sauce thickens nicely. My family enjoys eating this creamed corn, along with my 2 year old toddler, who doesn't want to eat something just by looking at it.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

I haven't baked in over 20 years and found this recipe because my department was having a cookie bake-off and I had to bring something in. I did use one of the variations that a reviewer submitted - thank you. My goodness, these cookies are so delicious!!! They came out very buttery and just melted in your mouth. Everyone raved about how good they were and couldn't believe that this was my first time baking them. Everyone couldn't get enough cookies to eat, even my husband complained that I didn't leave enough for him. .
