World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
I added a tablespoon of pesto to the ricotta cheese mix and a teaspoon of crushed pepper to the sauce for that extra something special. I LOVE this recipe!

Chicken Scampi II

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2010
Unfortunately, mine had a very light version of what the taste of scampi is to me. Perhaps when I recalculated to 8 servings, it lost it's true taste since it was a bigger batch. I'm going to try it again because the reviews were so positive. Wish me luck!

Tortillas I

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
Excellent! I have been searching for a tortilla recipe for years. They always ended up like crackers. I saw that this recipe had less shortening which made me nervous, but proof was in the tortilla! I had bacon grease on hand from breakfast and added that to the griddle before placing the tortillas on to cook. **NOTE** I used twice the amount of salt just for my personal taste. I also used all the water recommended (not boiling just hot) and even added about 1/4 cup more after everything was mixed because my dough still looked like flakes of flour handed got sticky yet. Love them!!

Hawaiian Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
Just like King's Hawaiian bread! On my first try of the ingredients, it worked out! The second time I did it, the can of pinapples weren't as fresh just two days laters and made a negative impact. Since I didn't not have potato flakes, I used mash potatos. ** NOTE ** I had to add 1/3 cup extra flour since mashed potatos carry more water than flakes. My kids love this special treat! So do I :) Over and over again!
