Amish Macaroni Salad

This was the best macaroni salad I've ever made. My family LOVED it, including my ultra-picky 5 year old. We don't like our macaroni salad so creamy, so I used an entire bag of salad macaroni and it was perfect! I will definitely make this one again.

Cheesy Potatoes

This was so easy & yummy! Will definitely make again. I halved this recipe with the exception of adding one small potato. Not sure how much of a difference it makes but I used red onion and a cheddar/colby cheese. I also added 1/8 cup milk & a tsp of garlic powder. I mixed all ingredients together and during the last 10 minutes, I topped it with some more cheese & bacon bits. It made a nice crunchy & tasty topping. Even my 5 year old liked it. This was a little bit greasy but not too bad. Maybe next time I'll try a low fat cheese, but then again I wonder if it will be as yummy!

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

Easy & yummy meal. I cooked the meal for 20 minutes, adding frozen carrots after about 7 minutes. I also used dry noodles that I boiled separately for 5 minutes and then added to the mixture during the last 5 minutes of cook time. My entire family liked it, even my very very picky 3 year old!! Definitely a keeper. :-)

Banana Bread

Delicious! I changed the recipe just a bit by adding an extra banana, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla. I divided the batter and put walnuts in one half & chocolate chips in the other. I used a 9x5 loaf pan filling each side with each half of the batter. Cooked for about 55 minutes. Would probably be a little better if I used 2 smaller pans. The bread was starting to brown a bit too much trying to get the center to cook all the way but it was still really good.

Easy Ham and Noodles

Wonderful dish! My husband and I loved it. Following other recommendations I used a can of cream of chicken & 1/2 can of cream of mushroom, about 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, pepper, regular milk instead of canned, shredded cheese, frozen peas topped it off with crushed ritz crackers dotted with butter and it was DELICIOUS! My husband agreed it's definitely a keeper recipe.

Barbequed Hamburgers

My husband and I really enjoyed this meal. It was quick and easy to make. Someone else wrote that it was mushy, but mine wasn't. I think you need to make sure the prepared meat sits long enough for the milk to be absorbed good.
