About this Cook
I like to cook different recipes each night. I like to change it up. I try to eat chicken, pork, beef a 100 different ways. Love eating diffent foods - soul food, mexican, BBQ, anything but the blah foods I was brought up on. I suffer from chroic pain so cooking helps me cope and put my mind on something different. one good thing is the family never knows what will be put on the table that night....
My favorite things to cook
Its a recipe I call Turkey pita, easy and very tasty. Mexican foods, still working on the soul foods lol
My favorite family cooking traditions
Very small family, so whatever I cook thats what they have to choose from lol
My cooking triumphs
If (I) like it then it was a triumph for me lol
My cooking tragedies
I cook so many different things that sometimes if it don't turn out it was a waste of time and money, One time I did bake a frozen pizza with the card board still on the bottom lmao and didn't know it till I was trying to cut through it lol had to be there I guess.

Substitute Phyllo Dough
I used this recipe and rolled it out and cut it into squares, I put the ingredients for shepard's pie in each of them and pinched the dough at the top so it looked like a ball with a bow on top. it turned out great. my whole family loved it. I served it with a little gravy. thanks for the recipe. 5-5
