Absolute Best Liver and Onions

Great recipe. I cut down the soak time in milk to just 15 minutes because I like the unique taste of liver. I also used calves liver because of the tenderness. A little trick my mom taught me that always helps is to take a meat tenderizer and hit the meat just a very little to make it even more tender. The dish was just perfect.

Mom's Sweet Potato Bake

If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them. This dish was outstanding! The only change I made was to use 1/2 cup each brown and white sugar instead of 1 cup white, and I used oats for the topping instead of pecans. Wonderful!

Sweet Potato Pie I

Great recipe! I used 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar, and added 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, because I just love the spice of ginger. I also found that if you bake the potatoes instead of boil them, the taste is richer. A trick I learned from my Mom is to go through the mashed potatoes before mixing them with the other ingredients and pick out all of the strings you can. I know it takes a little time, but the result is a much smoother creamier pie. Trust me, it's worth the extra work. This pie gets rave reviews at my house.

Fruit Pizza

A great easy recipe. I used Cool Whip instead of the marshmallow creme for a little lighter texture. I added my fruits and put a strawberry glaze over all and it was wonderful.

Premium Pizza Crust

I love the crisp crust. I added a little more flour and incorporated some italian herbs for a fantastic taste. I brushed the edge of the crust with evoo and sprinkled some garlic salt for some added flavor. I used the overnight method and it was wonderful. Great pizza crust!

Great crust. It works great for personal pan pizzas. Just separate into three or four equal pieces. The crusty outside is wonderful.
