Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2007
I found that if you like your cookies to remain high rather than flat you need to add 1/2 cup more flour to this recipe.

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2012
I made these today and they are really good. I used the 29 oz can pumpkin to make more of a batter consistency and baked for 30 minutes. It made 20 muffins.

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2014
I baked mine at 350 for about twelve minutes then turned off oven and left them in there for a few hours to totally dry out. Then I put in plastic bag and crushed to use in spaghetti, on pizza or in anything you desire. Today I made potato salad and mixed some in that. Kind of use like Oregano or any dried spice.

Yellow Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2011
Loved this recipe. My only change was I didn't cook the squash first. The baking time made the squash tender crisp the way I like it. I think cooking first would tend to make it mushy.

Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2005
I just made this and the next time I will cook cranberries for 15 minutes and then add the rest of fruit and nuts because I like it to be a little less mushy. It only needs to cook about 20 minuts. I also added a little red food color to make it a deeper color. The I put it in 3 pint canning jars and let them seal so I could store in refridgerator and usa for Thanksgiving and Xmas. It makes alot. I also had about a half a cup more and I'm going to see how it freezes. I will also grate thr orange peel and add that.

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
The turkey was wonderful but could not use drippings for gravy because very salty. So be sure to have other means for the gravy if you want gravy.

I like a sweet corn bread and this one was perfect. Didn't change a thing but next time I need to grease my pan a tad bit more.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
This is the best banana bread recipe I have ever made. All my other recipes for this are going in the trash. I did have to bake them for 1 hr. 15 minutes though. Make sure you dust the pan with the sugar mixture because it makes it extra yummy.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2003
THIS IS A VERY MOIST AND DELICIOUS BREAD. I ALSO BAKED IT IN A JAR. MAKES GOOD GIFTS. ALSO ADDED NUTS AND ONLY BAKED IT FOR 45 MINUTES. THE FIRST TIME IT BURNED THE BOTTOM A LITTLE IN THE LAST 5 MINUTES OF THE 50 MINUTES LIKE THE RECIPE CALLED FOR. I LET IT COOL FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES AND THE WRAPPED THEM IN FOIL WHILE STILL A LITTLE WARM AND IT SEEMED TO MAKE THEM MORE MOIST BUT NOT GOOEY.

Banana Oatmeal Crumb Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
Wonderful flavor and very moist. I chopped the nuts but forgot to add to topping but was great anyway. I baked a little less time because I used a dark pan and it began to get to brown. Will make again for sure. I liked the fact it was only 8X8.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
This recipe turned out great for me. I have a set of three spingform pans so I used the 9 1/2 inch one and placed it inside of the 10 1/2 inch one for added thickness. I baked it exactly like the directions and left it in the oven for six hours and refrigerated overnite and it couldn't have looked or tasted any better. Will definitely make again.

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2001
I have been making these for three years now and I have varied the recipe to make my own version. I use Rolo's. When they are still wrapped flatten them lightly with the palm of your hand, letting the warmth of your hand soften them a bit. Do this slowly. Then I unwrap and cut in half. Then I halve a marchino cherry that I have dried a litte with a paper towel and set that on the caramel and then wrap with cookie dough and bake. Very good.

Maryann's Upside Down Rhubarb Cake

Reviewed: May 30, 2014
Made this today but used 3 cups Rhubarb and it was fantastic. Will definitely make again. When you cut and serve make sure to turn upside down. Would probably be good with some fresh raspberries on top for looks and garnish.

Tahini Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2013
Instead of making this into cookies I crumbled it and baked it on a parchment lined cookie sheet and use it as granola for my yogurt. You can probably add all sorts of nuts and fruit to suit your taste. Watch carefully though because it browns really fast. It will be real crunchy when it cools.

This is really good. I made a mistake by adding the chocolate chips and nuts to the batter but it was delicious. Had to bake more like 50 minutes.

Lemon-Raspberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2012
Made these today with fresh berries and it couldn't be better. Didn't change a thing except oven temp. I always burn cupcake and muffins at this high heat. My temp was 350.
