This is a really simple dish that's a crowd pleaser & warming. I used chicken broth instead of beef because it's what I had, and I floured and fried my meat in the oil - which means I didn't add flour at the end. I double the amount of stock & barley & let it simmer an extra hour. The dish came out perfectly. Thick, rich & complex. A winner.

Kitchen Sink Cookies

This was a perfect recipe to add a bunch of stuff into. I added chocolate chips, peanut M&Ms and walnuts. Wonderful.

Haroset for Passover

I thought this was very good, but it needs at least a 1/2 cup of wine, and it'e better to let it sit overnight.

Best Egg Rolls

I would like this to have more spice. I had to add a bunch of salt to the mixture before I started wrapping - which is odd because I typically don't add extra salt to anything. I also added a bunch of fresh cracked black pepper - and that was wonderful. I think this recipe is a winner - but it needs a little tweaking for my taste.
