Key Lime Pie VII

Search no further for a Key Lime pie recipe - I've been baking for years and used to make this pie using eggs for the custard. I will never go that route again. This is the perfect recipe. I make my own crust with either graham crackers or vanilla wafer cookies. Sometimes I put the grated lime zest in, sometimes I leave it out and to be honest, I do not notice any difference. I use two cans of sweetened condensed milk and find I have to bake the pie for 30 minutes - it could be because I am using a glass pie pan. I watch it at 5 minutes intervals. This pie is delicious - very easy to make and is an absolute crowd pleaser. One more thing...I use plain old limes - in my area there are no key limes.
