Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2013
Excellent! Everyone devoured it! I mixed in half mini chocolate chips and half Skor bits (I didn't bother rolling in nuts). I served it with teddy grahams and waffle shaped pretzels (strong for dipping). The pretzels were surprisingly my favourite!

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2012
This frosting is amazing!!! I used it on red velvet cupcakes for a Christmas party and everyone loved them! There were no leftovers. I also loved the texture; made it very easy to pipe.

Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2011
Excellent! I used a Hillshire Farms smoked sausage and it was delicious with this meal! The only suggestions I would make are: 1) spray the foil with vegetable oil to prevent sticking, and 2) reduce the amount of salt and pepper. It was pretty salty. Will definitely make again!

Wasn't crazy about it. It tasted a lot like vanilla pudding.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Love it! I've made this recipe many times now and we still love it! I always use Diana Sauce when I make this. I've tried the original, chicken & rib, and the honey garlic bbq sauce with excellent results every time.

Cream Cake Dessert

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
I think this could quite possibly be the best cake I have ever tasted!! It tastes exactly like a twinkie and is very soft and moist. I made mine into cupcakes (less baking time, around 20 mins or so). I then used a cupcake plunger to remove the middle of the cupcakes, put the filling into a pipping bag and filled the cupcakes with the filling. AMAZING! I made them for a new years party and everyone who tried them LOVED them! I bet the cupcakes would also be great with a not-too-sweet chocolate frosting on top! yum

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2010
I LOVE this gingerbread recipe! I'm really not a fan of molasses so this recipe is a perfect substitute for me. I've been making it for the past couple of years and they are always eaten up immediately.

Herbed New Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
I've made these 3 times now and they are delicious!! I use a little less potatoes than it calls for because there never seems to be enough sauce for all those potatoes..

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
This is just as good (if not better) than what you'd order at a Chinese food restaurant! I've made this many times and follow the directions exactly with no changes. It doesn't need any! I will usually serve it with quick Chinese noddles, fried rice, or chow mein. We LOVE this recipe!

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2010
Excellent carrot cake! I made the recipe exactly as written, no adjustments. It made 2 dozen cupcakes for me. After icing, I drizzled with caramel and dusted with cinnamon. Yummm!!

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
I did make a couple very small adjustments.... I leave out the ginger (not a big fan) and add extra soy sauce and garlic powder at the end. I've been making this recipe for almost a year now and it is still my boyfriend's favourite meal!

Steak Salad

This salad is amazing! I left out the blue cheese; not a big fan. Other than that, it is one of our favourite salads for a lite summer lunch or dinner.

Dad's Pad Thai

This is my favourite pad thai recipe! I've made it many times now. The only change I've made is substitute soy sauce for the fish sauce.
