Egg in a Hole
In our household this was called Hens egg in toast. One first made English style toast and removed a center placed the toast in a buttered copper skillet and dropped in an egg. My experience with Toad in the Hole was a classic English recipe which was basically a pancake with a cooked sausage rolled inside. Therefore, the toad is in its hole. There is also Egg in a Glass. Another great breakfast. Also Shirred Eggs.

Uncle Jesse's French Toast
If this were April Fools Day I would say right on but this recipe with all its butter, sugar and thin slices of wheat bread is something I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. Anyone eating this is just looking for trouble not just MI's but Gallbladder disease, CVA's just love this sort of food combo. This is a joke...right?

No flavour and it doesn't seem to bear any resemblence to the real thing.
