Three Cheese Manicotti

Pretty good. I added chicken to give it some added protein. I will keep this one in my collection!

Chicago Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2005
Do not try this with Fat Free Miracle Whip. That is all I had in my refrigerator, and thought it would be healthier, but the Miracle Whip taste was way too strong. I'm sure the recipe would have been good if I would have followed it!

Great salad. Very beautiful with all of the colors. I also added sunflower seeds and feta cheese like another suggested. Ended up serving again the next night!!

Love this!! Didn't change a thing. Just like the dish at the restaurant.

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2005
So easy and so good!! Super fast - it took me less than 30 minutes. Makes a ton, so if you don't have a lot of people to feed, cut the recipe in half. I followed the advice of others and used less liquid to make a thicker soup (3 cans of chicken broth instead of 4). I am definately going to make this again!

Donna's Cheesy Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2005
I really liked this, but only gave it 4 stars because I will probably never crave it. I only did half the amount of onions, and added some left over ham from Easter and a few fresh mushrooms. I also did 4 eggs instead of 3. This would be a great recipe to experiment with!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2005
These tasted great. The only thing that I didn't like was that they were pretty runny. The leftovers were great, though!! I did what others said and doubled the sauce and it made 10 enchiladas. I'm sure I'll make this one again.

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2005
These were good, but probably nothing I will crave, though. I would probably make them with applesauce instead of oil next time to make them a little healthier. Otherwise, a decent bran muffin!

Sweet and Sour Pork I

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2005
This dish was way too salty for me. I don't usually have that problem, but the salty flavor seemed to be way overpowering. I was suprised how easy the recipe was, though. I used regular flour like some other users said because I couldn't find tapioca flour. I also couldn't find plum sauce, but I made do with what I had.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2005
I thought that these cookies were better the second day. I liked the taste, although I didn't think they made the prettiest cookie. I am still sold on the original toll house recipe!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2005
This was a GREAT substitute to banana bread. I had some bananas that I needed to use, and I didn't have an hour to bake a loaf of banana bread. I ate one that night, and one in the morning, but took the remainder to work. I got SO many compliments!! People said that they had never had such a moist muffin (it might be because I used 4 bananas instead of 3.) I'll make these again! I would give them a 5 star, but I like to reserve those for the recipes that really "WOW" me.

Beef and Parmesan Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2005
I just thought this was ok. It was fast and easy, which was a plus, but as far as the taste went - nothing great to me, just ok. My boyfriend really liked it, but then again, he really likes everything!! I followed advice of others and cooked an onion with the ground beef and also added an extra half can of beef broth. It definately needed that extra half can, maybe even more.

Brownie Caramel Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2005
I was really excited to make this because it sounded so good. It wasn't as good as I had hoped for. I did what other users said and only baked the brownie portion for half the time, but the end result didn't even taste like a brownie. I couldn't taste the caramel layer at all, and the brownie layer was flat and chewy. The only way I would make this again would to play with it a bit to make the brownie layer work.

Coconut Poke Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2005
Wow!!!! This cake was amazing. I didn't think the cake was soggy at all, and I used all of the cream of coconut and sweetened condensed milk. It was a perfectly moist and tasty cake. It was even great the next day. Will DEFINITELY make again and again!!

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

YUM! I actually made this the night before and cooked it the next day. The leftovers are great. I will definately make this again. I was going to add spinach, but forgot, so maybe next time I will try experimenting.

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: May 18, 2005
YUMMY!!! I will definately keep this recipe around. I doubled the recipe and cooked for my sister and her family, and we ate them all up. Even the kids cleaned their plates. I used garlic cream cheese, and besides having to pound out the chicken, these were extremely easy.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2005
I agree with others and give this a 4 star rating. It was super easy and I had everything on hand. This is something easy for a weeknight dinner, but nothing really impressive. I will make it again when I am needing something that needs very little preparation!!
