About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Fondue, pizza, vegetarian and raw food cuisine, slow cooker foods, crepes, cakes,
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have been making deep dish pizza pies in cast iron skillets from a recipe I read in SEVENTEEN magazine when I was in high school. It is so delicious!
My cooking tragedies
One time I lost an entire tomato basil pie in the oven when the pie plate caved in as I was removing it from the oven. Now I always use a cookie sheet underneath it everytime.

Best Formula Three-Cheese Fondue
Yummy! A great fondue that is easy to make but so easy to make. I made it exactly by the recipe and it got rave reviews. It is necessary to cook and stir the cheese mixture for at least 10 minutes to get it fully melted. I cooked mine in a saucepan over a grill at a camp pavilion on the lake before adding it to the fondue pot over sterno flame for serving. It got better the longer it cooked. I will make it again.

Barbie Doll Cake
I made it using the pampered chef small glass mixing bowl for the skirt. It had to be baked for a little longer. I made it with strawberry cake for the skirt.
