About this Cook
I've been cooking since I was in high school. I am a teacher and I cook for my students and my co-workers often. What I love about cooking is the little dance that people do when they love a dish and presentation is key for me! Everyday dinners must be presented in a creative way in my household. I love getting in the kitchen whipping up something new or adding my own personality to a recipe on this website. What can I say...I love cooking!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, mostly cakes and cupcakes. I specialize in red velvet and any kind of pound cake. I also decorate and make cakes for many special occasions.

My friend and I are starting up a small catering business. We have done a few events and have gotten great reviews on our food and presentation.
My cooking tragedies
I almost started a grease fire at home once frying some wings, as you can see, frying is not my specialty! Deep fryers are good investments.

Key Lime Pie VII
This recipe is perfect, didn't change a thing. I love the simplicity of it. I made mini pies/tarts for a birthday party and they were a big hit.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake
I made this cake for my sister's 21st birthday. I am still getting raves about it! I didn't use nuts. I used the suggesting about poking holes in the cake and replacing it in the pan which made the cake really moist. I also used Kahlua in the cake along with the Baileys and I sprayed the cake heavily with Kahlua before I put on the glaze. One last thing, I added a drizzle with powdered sugar, Kahlua, and milk.
