About this Cook
I work at a local papermill on rotating shifts. This means days and nights get reversed as does breakfast and dinner LOL And I raise and breed ball pythons too
My favorite things to cook
Grilled ribeyes
My cooking triumphs
Anything that doesn't wind up in the trash can! LOL
My cooking tragedies
When I was going thru my "Frugal Gourmet" phase, I attempted to cook pig's feet. They had the house smelling SOOOO bad, I wouldn't even try it!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Wraps
This is a keeper for us! Using a whole bottle of hot sauce, I was afraid that they would be too hot to eat. They were fairly mild on heat but big on flavor. A spoon of the reserved sauce was great and and slight squirt of Sriracha on top along with Crema Mexicana (Mexican style sour cream) worked great.

Feta Chicken Salad
I had some left over roast chicken from Wal-Mart deli and Feta that needed to be used. Used the search feature and this came up. My wife and I really loved it. Served with leaf lettuce for an informal build it yourself lettuce wrap.Definitely a keeper.I made no changes

Asian Barbequed Steak
Flank steak was not available so I used skirt steak. Marinated it overnight and grilled the next day. I found it to be very flavorful. I was concerned about it being too hot because of the amount of chilli sauce but it was just fine. It is slightly salty due to the fish sauce but not too bad.I don't like a lot of salt and it was alright for even me. Served it with coconut-cilantro jasmine rice.
